The Beckhoff EL7211 is a rack mounted servo card and is typically used in lower speed, less demanding applications. Examples include part setup, automatic recipe adjustments, automated tuning of tooling or fixtures and can play a key role in the initial development of smart machine methodology.
The space savings from this design reduce the need for large drive panels and since the cards are rack mounted, they can be distributed anywhere on the Ethercat network. Operating on 24 VDC or 48 VDC, deployment is very simple.
